This is the first major biography of Jeannette Rankin, the pioneering suffragist, activist, and first woman elected to Congress. This forgotten American hero‘s fearless leadership shaped the women’s rights and peace movements of the 20th century.

A strong democracy is a democracy where every eligible voter is empowered to actively engage in the electoral process. During this training we will discuss key voting populations that often face barriers to the ballot. We will share strategies for how to reach marginalized voters and how to help these voters exercise their voting rights.
