VOTE411 Coordinator Wanted - 2024
Janet Fisher-Hughes | Published on 11/29/2023
This is an ideal opportunity for you to make a real difference and to support our critical voter education efforts. With a laptop or similar device and some computer skills, this job can be done at home on your own time. Busy seasons occur twice a year, in the Spring ahead of the June Primary, and Fall leading to the November General Election. Training and support are provided by LWVUS and LWVNJ. Each cycle begins with creating or choosing candidate questions from a suggested list, obtaining candidate lists from the County Clerk’s Office and loading onto the Vote411 website, developing and sending email invitations to candidates, coordinating follow-up communications (with fellow volunteers) to increase candidate participation, and fielding questions from candidates.
Janet Fisher-Hughes has been managing Vote411 for LWVCC since 2018 while taking on additional roles and responsibilities for both our local and state League. Contact Janet at fishyhugs@msn.com for more info.
